Confronting Racial Identity and Stereotypes (06/07)

Any student, teacher, or staff member can tell you that being at Franklin is single handedly one of the most diverse experiences any of us will ever come across. In a school where we have so many ethnicities and mixtures of ethnic background it is fairly easy to mistake anyone for a race that they’re not.

The Source is the s o u r c e of my problems! (05/07)

Yes, just one more quarter till the end of the year. Honestly, I’m glad that this year is coming to a close, but one thing that I believe the student body all agrees on, is that sometimes the Source, well in the simplest terms, doesn’t help, and I’m torn in the middle. For some students in Franklin, it kind of grinds their gears.

Flu Season has come in. Are you sure you are prepared for all the sneezing, coughing, and overall not feeling up to anything feeling. Most of us probably have already taken flu shots. It is one of the best ways to prevent ourselves from getting sick.

Students here at Franklin High School know what’s up about that good old Myspace.com. This is like no ordinary chat room that you’re used to. It’s no Black planet or anything. It happens to be better. More than half the school actually owns a myspace.com account.
